Youth and Teen Recreation Services (YTRS) is a subgroup of California Park & Recreation Society's District 2. YTRS is available to recreation professionals to create a network of professionals to support growth, staff development and implement projects, events, workshops, as well as trainings that address issues that affect youth and teen professionals of the Sacramento region.   

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

Network with other professionals from recreation agencies and gain knowledge of what's currently trending in the recreation industry. Discuss a variety of topics that are relevant to recreational programming. Learn about other agencies' "best practices".

2025/2026 YTRS Trainings and Workshops- 11 am-1 pm

• Rec Cloud 2026: Level Up – an event geared towards helping out part-timers, lead staff, and entry-level recreation professionals to boost their skills, swap strategies, and unlock new ideas for youth and teen programming.
